Deregulation Bill debated today
The Deregulation Bill is to be debated in the House of Lords today. You can follow the progress of the bill here.
If the bill goes through then the changes proposed in the Tenancies (Reform) Bill that was defeated last year will go ahead.
The most controversial of these changes are the steps against ‘revenge evictions’ that will limit PRS landlords use of Section 21s. The details of the amendments are given on this discussion
