Oliver-Knights, previously Guy Salmon Estates, and now operating as Lang and Ward have once again been exposed as fraudsters. Paul Shamplina featured the agency on his excellent TV programme after he was appointed by two landlords to recoup embezzled rent. The modus operandi has remained a constant for over 10 years ;
utilise a very British company name to lull victims into a sense of confidence, falsely advertise that the company belongs to government recognised deposit and property ombudsman redress scheme, embezzle deposits and rental, specifically target offshore landlords.
As per past behaviour, once exposed, Lang and Ward are now operating under new agency names viz William Huxley and Sharpstone. The reviews for all these agencies name the same directors as responsible for the deliberate fraud.
Action Fraud and other legal authorities continue to ignore these fraudsters forcing landlords and tenants to initiate costly action themselves against the directors and or their various companies.
Allagents UK review site is accumulating vital comments from landlords and tenants on all the above noted agencies and a journalist from the Daily Mail is keen to speak to anyone who can assist him in gathering further information.
